Semi-final Highlights:

In a gripping semi-final match, Korea's leading bowler Hong Hae Ni went head-to-head against Malaysia's Sin Li Jane. Jane, despite losing the initial game by a whisker (202-203), made a remarkable comeback, securing victories with scores of 226-192 and a dominant 269-220. This win paved her way to the finals.

On the other side, Natasha Roslan of Malaysia faced Korea's robust contender, Son Hye Rin. Roslan's journey could have been smoother too. After a setback in the first game (143-189), she regained her form to claim the next two games with scores of 227-173 and 214-177 respectively.

The All-Malaysian Final

The stage was set for an all-Malaysian final between Natasha Roslan and Sin Li Jane. Both competitors gave their best, with scores swinging like a pendulum. Roslan took an initial lead, winning 259-194. However, Jane retaliated swiftly with a 238-162 win. The final match was intense, with both players vying for the gold. Ultimately, Roslan clinched the championship with a 185-165 victory.

Despite the silver, Jane's performance marked Malaysia's strongest presence at a global event in nearly two decades. Meanwhile, after their semi-final defeats, both Hong and Son gracefully accepted the bronze.

Beyond the semi-finals and finals, the championship was abundant with exciting matches. Hong Hae Ni dominated Group 1, while Roslan made her mark in Group 2. Surprising results also emerged, such as Jane advancing through a tie-breaker against Colombia's Clara Juliana Guerrero and Son Hye Rin's victory over another Colombian contender, Maria Jose Rodriguez.
